Foundational English for Academic Purposes (30 Credits)

This module aims to equip students with essential English language skills for academic success. It focuses on academic reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Students will learn how to analyze and interpret academic texts, construct coherent essays, and engage in academic discussions. The module also emphasizes vocabulary development, grammar accuracy, and effective communication strategies in an academic context. Through a combination of lectures, interactive activities, and practice assessments, students will gain the confidence and competence needed to succeed in an English-speaking university environment.

Fundamentals of Business Mathematics (30 Credits)

This module provides a solid foundation in mathematical concepts and techniques used in business. Topics include algebra, statistics, probability, financial mathematics, and calculus. Students will learn how to apply mathematical methods to solve business problems, interpret data, and make informed decisions. Emphasis is placed on practical application through real-world business scenarios and case studies. By the end of the module, students will have the quantitative skills necessary for financial analysis, market research, and strategic planning in a business context.

Foundations of Management (30 Credits)

This module covers the basic principles and practices of management. Students will explore key management functions such as planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Topics include organizational behavior, leadership styles, motivation theories, decision-making processes, and strategic management. Through case studies, group projects, and simulations, students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The module aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how effective management contributes to organizational success and prepares them for leadership roles in various business settings.

Research Skills for Business (30 Credits)

This module introduces students to essential research methodologies and techniques used in business studies. Students will learn how to formulate research questions, design research projects, and collect and analyze data using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Key topics include literature review, data collection methods, ethical considerations, and report writing. By the end of the module, students will be able to conduct independent research, critically evaluate sources, and present their findings effectively. This module prepares students for advanced research tasks in their future academic and professional careers.

Entry Requirements

Foundation Year Entry Requirement:


High School Completion

Applicants must have completed at least 11 years of formal education (e.g., high school or secondary education) with a high school certificate or equivalent.A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school studies.

English Language Proficiency

A letter to show previous studies was in English will suffice or for non-native English speakers, a minimum score in one of the following:

IELTS: 5.5 overall
TOEFL iBT: 60
PTE Academic: 45

SAT Score Requirement

A minimum SAT score of 900 (combined score for Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math) is recommended.

While not mandatory, submitting an SAT score can strengthen your application, especially if your GPA or other qualifications are slightly below the required threshold.

Statement of Purpose

A 1-2 page statement outlining your career goals, motivation for pursuing the MBA, and how this program aligns with your aspirations.

Letters of Recommendation

Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references who can speak to your potential for success in the MBA program.

Resume/ CV

A current resume or CV detailing your educational background, work experience, and any relevant skills or achievements.
